Christopher Erpelding is the Chief Mechatronics Architect, responsible for designing and developing novel robotic systems centered on human engagement and experience. His work spans research, system architecture, prototyping, and hands-on fabrication, with a focus on building robots that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and effective to use. With a background in cognitive science and a specialization in human–computer interaction, Christopher brings a psychology-driven approach to robotics design. He focuses on understanding real human behavior and interaction patterns, translating those insights into practical, human-first robotic solutions that solve meaningful problems.
